Northeast Georgia Special Missions Outreach NEGSMO
NEGSMO is a Ministry that shares the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping, organizing, training, and assisting local Churches and Associations to reach out to their Jerusalem and Judea, through Area Special Missions Opportunities in Northeast Georgia.
Greetings Fellow Servants:
The Lord continues to use us in this multifaceted ministry. I would invite you and your church to be a part of the work around N.E. Georgia.
There is a need for men to volunteer at the trust stop ministry, late nights. The hours would be after 10:00 p.m. for a 4-hour shift. The goal is to have someone 24 hours a day 7 days a week!
We have had a great start of the year with 11 decisions for Christ thus far.
We have had opportunities to give guidance with driver finances, relationships, job transitions, and spiritual growth! The Lord has used us in many ways.
We had a luncheon for Tanger employees and 40 volunteers came to serve almost 500 people!!
Upcoming Events:
No Tax Saturday (tentatively set for August 2) at Tanger - this will be a day of outreach-we will be giving out bottled water. We will need volunteers to share with those who come our way. We also need funds to purchase the water. We can only give out Dasani water at Tanger and we will be getting 5,000 bottles for that day!
Chattahoochee Mountain Fair - in Clarkesville, September 5-13th. We will be sharing the message by giving out water, providing a baby changing booth and sharing the message with fair attendees. Volunteers will be needed to serve in the booth area.
Elberton 12 County Fair - October 6-11th has opened many doors for us this year. We will be looking for face painters, puppet teams, and singing groups. We will also need to staff the booth as we have had in the past.
